NFC Keyboard FRU?

I noticed that in Europe, the X1C is available with the NFC enabled keyboard. However, the US site doesn't list this as an option. Is it possible to swap the keyboard on the US version with one that supports NFC? Is this something I can do myself or it needs a trip to the service depot?
