Does anyone know the values of this fuse?

#1 Post by Bob_230932 » Sat Sep 12, 2020 8:06 pm

Hello everyone.

I have blown the backlight fuse of my ThinkPad x1 Tablet Gen 3.

I bypassed the fuse while waiting to buy a new one fuse and properly solder it with hot air and with a microscope.

But the question is, which fuse should I buy?

Thanks for your help !

All backlight fuses are SMD 3A/32V/Fast acting, usually have the letter P on it, and come in various sizes: 0402, 0603, 1206, 2410, etc.
You can piggyback-solder the new one on top of the old one.
A popular one is e.g. 0467003.NR (0603), others might be too small or too big.
