Thinkpad X1 Carbon G10 occasionally freezes for a few seconds when in battery mode.

Hi,

My Thinkpad X1 Carbon G10 occasionally freezes for a few seconds when in battery mode.

During this time the screen does not show any new keyboard or mouse input. It's happening only when running on battery. After the freezing, which typically lasts approx. 5 seconds, the missing input is shown.

It looks like the Thinkpad does not process any keyboard input during this time, e.g., if I press keys to change the screen brightness, it will only change the brightness after freezing stops and the PC resumes to normal.

Windows Update and Lenovo Ventage both report no outstanding updates for this PC.

It's pretty annoying when writing texts. This problem persists since I got this device a few months ago.

Do you know what's going on and how this can be resolved?

Greetings!

We have been using our X1 Carbon Gen 10 for a month now, and we had no such problems as you've described...

Perhaps you should consider to have Lenovo to look at your ThinkPad, especially since it's under warranty...
