Question on notes and pen

For anyone that has worked with the pen/stylus and notes app:

1. Do you have concerns that the pen/stylus will damage the screen surface?
2. Does this feel usable for taking a lot of notes...say for a lecture or business meeting, where a lot of writing and maybe some drawing is done in a short period? In other words...can this replace paper & pen?
3. Are the notes kept as images, or are they OCR'ed into text?

Thanks!

1. so far, no.. remember it is "gorilla glass"..
that said, don't use a brick on it.. :)

2. uhmm, for me, so far, not so much.. the OCR is great.. BUT one must learn that it is NOT pencil and paper and the tablet can pick up your palm and interpret that as a pen stroke..
i'm sure once you take notes for a while you will learn how to do it without having suce unintended strokes registered.. maybe a sensitivity control someplace..

3. have you looked at "Quill" a free app written by a forum member..? it allows you to keep your nots as a vector graphic, raster image or a quill specific archive.. notes can also be saved as pdf files..

quill is a simple note taking app that has a setting for stylus only or stylus and finger..

very nice and very simple to use..
