Tablet 2 bluetooth keyboard

I like the really compact size of the keyboard for the tablet 2, but I'm wondering if it's possible to use it with USB and a desktop/laptop computer instead of just the tablet. Anyone tried this?

Tested a mouse, but I think a keyboard will also work, unless it uses much power.
