Thinkpad 10 recovery media?
Thinkpad 10 recovery media?
Picked up a TP10 today and like it quite a bit (reminds me of my beloved TransNote, writing on a ThinkPad green again!). Anyway, I bought it used and the previous owner wiped the original install and the recovery files, so I;m unable to do a clean install. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the cds from Lenovo? And btw, the onscreen keyboard works much better than the one on my iPad.

Re: Thinkpad 10 recovery media?
This is what I did the other day to get a TP 10 to install Windows 10...
^^ Somehow the individual screwed up recovery partition and the tablet was in endless loop trying to install Windows 10.
Download the Windows 10 64 ISO image from Microsoft site (https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/softwar ... ndows10ISO)
Get a 8GB USB Key
Use YUMI to create the installation media (tried Windows 7 USB / DVD tool but it failed) <-- I think it had to do with FAT32 vs NTFS??
Boot from the 8GB and go on your way
