It is mandatory to read real user experience before buying any Lenovo product these days, unfortunately. As usually, there are (were ?) same basic functionality failures https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows-ba ... true#M5025

Chech availability in your country because PSREF http://psref.lenovo.com/Product/IdeaPad_Miix_700 lists US models only. The black color edition is not available over here at all. The only model available is 80QL008GCK - Lenovo Miix 700-12ISK Golden

I read about that touchpad issue, the cursor jumping around. 5 bucks that they are touching the touchpad with their palms when typing. You wouldnt believe how many times i've had to explain that to outraged customers... Bloody unreal.

thanks for the links though. We have only the black available. In two configurations, 4/128 and 8/256 for 1153$ and 1449$ respectively.

Read it carefully, there is second issue mentioned:

But the second problem you mention is tougher. My keyboard occasionlly goes to sleep and misses a few keystrokes. Then it wakes up and continues to function properly.

Okay, good point. But i reckon that's windows putting it into sleep mode, i have the exact same issue with all of my bluetooth keyboards when running windows 10. It doesnt happen in linux or 8.1 and i'm fairly certain bluetooth power saving can be turned off. Its the reason i went back to 8.1 on my Encore tablet. The exact same thing happens to the SP3 at work, or my DRS tablet. Dont have any other devices using bluetooth keyboards, but i reckon its a collective issue.

We've got two of the m3 ones with 4GB. There was a firmware update for the keyboard that got rid of the worst of the keyboard issues to the point now where I'm not that bothered by it. I find the m3 just fine for what we do, which is mostly Remote Desktop and cloud apps in browsers.
