Just picked up one of these on Ebay dirt cheap and like brand new. I want to upgrade to to Win 8.1 so I downloaded and burned the
.iso.

I was wondering if the tablet will recognize and boot from the dvd drive via usb if the .iso disc is in the burner?

I'm waiting on an adapter from New Egg to allow me to plug in the drive so I don't know the answer to this question

After several tries at Windows update, it finally downloaded the required pre-requisite updates to allow the 8.1 update to download and install. I ended up not having to use the .iso I burned.

The downside to the update is that now my JBL Flip 4 will not connect with the Lenovo tablet. It works wonderfully when hard wired to it though.

Windows 8 did allow it to connect and transmit audio but 8.1 will not.
