Thinkpad Tablet 10: charging battery

#1 Post by CPC464 » Sat May 27, 2017 4:12 am

Hi,

one thing I love in good old Tp is that you can manually set charging thresholds in power manager.

I fear it isn't possible, but, is there any way of manually setting charging thresholds in my little Thinkpad Tablet 10? It would be nice having this feature.

There is no point, it uses Li-Polymer battery (laptop batteries are Li-ion). Just enjoy it while it works, it can be replaced. My ThinkPad 8 tablet battery still have 90% of its original capacity after two years and more than 450 cycles.

Thank you for your answer!

Yes, that was what I feared. At least the battery in this one is easy to replace, and replacement batteries are -still- available.
