It's here!

Just installed it on my W500 running W8 Pro RTM - works, but no updates found

Win 8 have not been officially released yet so of course you would not expect any official updates.

It's now been pulled due to issues.

It is available again, but it only installed 4 of about 20 pieces of software and drivers I needed for Win 8 Pro.

It won't install at all on my X1. Gives me Windows Installer errors. There were a few other pieces of Lenovo software that gave me similar errors. Hopefully it's updated soon.

Getting 'No packages found' message on my 6474R2U (T400) with Windows 8 Pro x64.

Since the T400 is not a Lenovo supported platform for Win 8, it not going to offer you Win 8 related updates

I finally got it to install by running it as local admin instead of my normal account (which should have worked as it was in local administrator's group too).
