Ericsson f3507 on Windows 8 RTM

#1 Post by Monocat » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:58 am

Hi guys,

has anybody succesfully managed to get tge ericsson f3507 module working under Windows 8.
I thought it was not possible until I stumbled upon this post on a german blog:

Anybody got it to work? I tried to do anything that I thought was possible and still nothing.

I have a erricson Card in my W500, and it Works just fine under W8. However it requires access connections to Work.

Hmm. Would be great to manage to get it to run.

Can I ask which version of access connection exactly do you have?
You did not install any driver for the wwan card specifically?

Its the Windows 7 version of access connections

I dont remember if i let Windows search for a driver for the wwan Card.. (going to device manager, update driver, search automatically)

Got the access connections to work, but there is stil the driver missing. I tried to install it manually from the latest driver package I could find, but the computer crashed.

Well. Maybe I did not use the right driver package. Will try it later again.

I'm having somewhat the same problem. I was able to find and load the Ericsson F3507G Driver but I can't find the PCI Simple Communications Controller driver that was used in conjunction under Windows 7. Do you know where I can find the PCI Simple Communications Controller driver? Does this driver enable one to use access connections? Thanks..

Hi. Which driver did you use? My PC crashed every time I tried to install any driver I could find.

unfortunatelly, it did not post the right download details, a dynamic page probably...

if it would be possible, if you could send me the filename, I would google it.
