Hi everyone !
Got a strange problem with win 8 pro 64, the display gets pixelized when movings windows on the desktop, like if i move around an explorer windows, all the text become unreadable, changing background pictures does that also. eventually the display gets refreshed and normal again, like toggling between the tiles and desktop.
Strangely no lag visioning video content on youtube in IE even in full screen (1680x1050pixels).
Video driver is from windows 8, can't install the one from lenovo Win7, nor any available beside the default installed. No error in the device manager beside fingerprint reader wich no driver available.
Since the T500 is multiboot, i have Win 7 both 64 & 32 no problems and Win 8 32 work perfectly, only the 64 bit version is problematic. BTW those are clean installs not upgrade over previous OSes
any ideas ??

Seems to be a video driver issue.
You might also try to refresh the desktop (ie change wallpaper).

Re: T500 display gets garbled on Win8 pro 64
I think i have found the culprit
It has to do with RAM over 4 gig, because it was doing the problem a little bit in win 7 64 but not as much as win 8
Of course a 32 bit version wasn't using the whole amount of RAM installed (6gig).
Before i had tried updating the BIOS to the latest version, video driver in Win 7, no avail.
So i removed the 2 gig sodimm in the 2nd slot, leaving the 4 gig in the first slot.
The 2 gig was the correct spec PC3-8500s, but not the same brand as the 4gig.
Anyway it solved the problem .
So either it has to to with being over 4 gig or both sodimm has to be equal size, that i don't know, i don't have another 4 gig sodimm.
Anyone knows about that issue ?
Thanks,
Rick
