Can you use Bitlocker to encrypt an msata?

I believe you can protect ANY device, mSATA is just a protocol rather than a type of device, in rare cases a DEVICE is incompatible but good brand made devices (Crucial, OCZ, Intel, Samsung, Kingston etc......) should always be protect-able with bitlocker

My W530 with Windows 8 allows to encrypt the MSata drive with Bitlocker.
