IBM Z61m and Windows 8 pro x 64bit

Dear All,

I have IBM ThinkPad Z61m (9453) and I have a problem with installing Windows 8 pro x 64bit on SSD drive.

During the installation process Windows ask for a driver controller and I have a driver saved on my pendrive for Vista x 64bit / Windows 7 x 64 bit but it does not work, however, it works perfectly with Vista x 64bit / Windows 7 x 64 bit which I have installed on another SSD drive.

I could not find any other drivers on Lenovos support website for Windows 8 pro x64

What driver exactly are you referring to?

Thank you for your reply.

I am referring to Intel hard drive ATA/ATAPI driver for for Windows 8 x 64 only as Windows 8 x 32 works fine but not x 64
