T450 audio issue

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Sun Oct 07, 2018 10:19 pm

My T450 is doing this wierd audio problem where every few minutes the audio will fluctuate between loud and full sounding audio to quiet and dim sounding audio. It is very abrupt and random, happens when playing YouTube videos in Chrome.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Something else with higher priority is trying to use the audio? Do you have any communication headset plugged in? Any voice communication programs running?

Yes, but not right now.

I found that the Dolby Digital Plus option in the Control Panel under Playback options creates the effect that I'm experiencing so something must be going on with that. Maybe Dolby's program is crashing?
