are batteries interchangeable between T420s and T430s?

I'm reading conflicting reports... anyone know for sure whether the batteries that I have for my T420s (both the 6-cell 'built-in' and the 3-cell ultrabay) will work in a new T430s (both 's' models)...?

I'm upgrading to the T430s and need to know whether I'll have to replace either or both of these spares... (?)

Due to a new "Battery Safeguard" <airquotes> feature </airquotes>, only genuine Lenovo batteries made for the *30 generation will work fully in a *30 machine.
I don't know whether the T420s battery fits physically in a T430s, but if it does, then it will power the machine but will not charge at all.

Hmm. All of my T420s batteries are "Lenovo" manufactured... but you're saying that they have to be both "Lenovo" *and* the new/current/secured model?

That sucks. Oh well... ebay here I come I guess... ;-(
