I believe the Intel HD 4000 supports three LCDs, so you could do two external, via VGA and Displayport, and the internal.

May I ask how to plug two monitors. Right now I use the Thunderbolt. But I don't see a HDMI port available. Is it possible without using docking station? Thanks!

The T430s gives you a VGA and Displayport connectors. Displayport can be converted to HDMI with a cable. Lenovo also sells a USB 3.0 connector as well.

Hi, ZaZ:
Will the USB 3.0 external monitor be able to send out high-resolution picture to the external monitor (in the sense that it support the highest resolution of the external LCD/LED)?
I do have a thunderbolt connector and a VGA connector. Now I'm using the Thunderbolt to connect to my HDMI monitor (via a converter). But the VGA one can only output low resolution or fuzzy resolution to the external monitors (resolution is not the highest supported by the external monitor).

What is the native resolution of your external monitor? Lenovo says the T430 supports up to 2048x1536@75Hz on the VGA port. And up to 2560x1600@60Hz on the DisplayPort via optional Mini DP cable and 1920x1200@60Hz with single-link DVI-I via optional Mini DP cable.

According to the specs, the USB 3.0 to DVI connector does a maximum resolution of 2048x1152.

My external monitor's resolution is 1920*1080. Although Win 7 is able to set the resolution to be this correct resolution if I use the VGA port, I noticed that the fonts and edge is kind of furry. That is, the edge and font is not as sharp as it could be under HDMI mode. May I ask whether this is normal? Thanks.

The T430s can support only 2 LCD without Dock.
If you need to support more LCD, then you could consider USB 3.0 dock which would give you extra 2 LCD at up to WUXGA. You can also consider eGPU or use a displayport splitter to support 2 LCD (up to WUXGA of same refresh rate).
Displayport splitter is the cheaper option if you have two of the same LCD that supports displayport connection, also unlike the USB 3.0 dock it doesn't sap CPU processing power.
