Any T530s (slim) on the horizon?

Hi,

I just received my T530 yesterday. The FHD screen will probably make me forget about the chicklet keyboard, but I can't understand that in this ear of ultrabooks, this beast is much thicker and heavier than my 10-year old T41. Given the height and weight differences between a T430 and its 's' (slim) version, if I knew a T530s version is on the horizon, I'd return this T530 and wait, even it comes at a cost. I ordered early only to be sure to get Windows 7, although I doubt they'd offer a business laptop in Windows 8 flavor only for a while. Lenovo is known for introducing new models at CES in January. Any rumor of a T530s? Or is 15.6" an unlikely target for a slim model? How do they make them slimmer BTW?

The T530 isn't mean to be very portable so it's unlikely that they'll make an 's' model.

They are not heavy, though. Only bulky because it's cheaper to produce them that way. The T4x were slim but very complicated to design and manufacture.

Looking around, I see some Acer laptops could have pleased me, but most sport a low resolution and feature a very glossy screen, which i hate when doing photo work. So in the end I learn to like my T530.

But fun to open :)
I recall replacing a broken screen and a dying fan.
