How about my T430?

#1 Post by celec_CN » Thu Feb 21, 2013 10:17 am

Sorry for my poor English .
I just bought my T430i (23423UC) ten days ago, during the Chinese Spring Festival.
And I uggrade it from the lowest to highest,like CPU(I3-2328M TO I7-3632QM) , RAM (2GB DDR3 1333 TO 16GB DDR3 1600) , DISPLAY(768P TO 900P AUO B140RW02 V.1 ) , HDD (320GB 7200RPM TO Crucial M4 128GB) , and anything else.
And I think these're someting may help you.
1. i7-3632qm can be supported by T430
2. DDR3 1600 16GB RAM can be supportd by T430

Nice but it depends on what you need it for. For the latest in PC gaming, it's not as good as a desktop with the latest GPU. For regular everyday webrowsing, MS Office, etc it's overkill.

Very nice to have a quad core CPU on a 14" computer. The Ivy Bridge chips are amazing. All the power and still only 35 Watts of heat to remove. Have you tried running IntelBurnTest to see what kind of numbers it can put down?

I think the DDR3 1600MHz 16GB compatibility is already well known. In fact, I would suspect that it will support 2x16GB modules once they are released someday.

However, I myself would not consider a Crucial m4 as the highest.
