Hello, I can't install the System Update utility on my T430s. The installation goes through the motions and completes without issue, but the link in the start menu to TSVU.exe is broken. There is no "Lenovo - Updates and Drivers" link in the Control Panel like there is for my X220, and there is no System Update folder in the Lenovo folder in either Program Files directory.

On this computer, I installed a mSata SSD which runs the OS and programs, and kept the traditional HD in the bay for storage purposes. I clean-installed 64 bit Win 7 Pro and everything has been working fine - individual updates install fine, but I'd much rather have the System Update utility to keep it up to date. I installed an SSD with 64 bit Win 7 Pro on my X220 also, and I had no problem installing the System Update utility.

I've tried installing both available System Update installation files, in compatibility mode and as administrator.

did u install net framework 4.5?

I've been under the impression that .Net Framework installations were updated with Windows Update, which I keep up to date. Don't have the laptop in front of me right now but I'll check when I get home, thanks!

So I installed .Net Framework 4.5 and tried re-installing System Update, still not working. I still see the start menu item with a shortcut to tsvu.exe that points to nowhere. Any ideas? Thanks!
