Hi,

So The LCD panel on my THinkpad T430 has gone bust and needs to be replaced. amazon has a thinkpad t430 screen, and mine is wxga HD and so is the screen thats on sale.. But unfortunately that screen does not have the original Lenovo part number or the manufacturer name.. but is just listed as a T430 lcd screen..

Apart from the Hd and Hd + issues, anything else I need to check before buying?

Welcome to the forum! Wait for someone to answer your question ...

I do not know the answer to your question regarding the T430 screens, but it has been the case for earlier Lenovo units that the generic screens have different pinouts and/or EDID chips which are incompatible with Lenovo's hardware and/or BIOS ... and the same may be true for T430 screens.
