Touchpad not working 80% of the time

Most of the time my touchpad is not working. When I logon, sometimes the touchpad IS working, then I can use it for like 5-10 minutes. After that the touchpad is not responding anymore.

It is most likely this is because I disassembled my notebook several times.

I bought a new keyboard, but I still have the problem with my touchpad.

Would a replacement of the bezel help? From my understanding the bezel is delivered completely with fingerprint reader and touchpad. It is over 100 USD unfortunately.

Yes. Call Lenovo for a replacement of the keyboard bezel - the keyboard bezel also contains the TouchPad.

Well I destroyed it when I disassembled my device mutliple times, so I will just order it from my company. I just wanted another opinion whether it is most likely the touchpad hardware itself and not a software problem or so. Thanks for your answer!!!

I also use most of the time the mouse, so i am not 100% sure whether I will order the bezel right away, first its one month delivery - last delivery took around two months - and second with the mouse its no problem. Over 100 USD is quite a price for an accessory I use sparingly.
