Replacing T530 screen with a third party IPS panel

I have a T530 with 1600x900 panel and I want to upgrade it to a 1920x1080 panel. The original part is a TN panel, which I don't like too much. I'd wish to use a third party IPS panel.

Is that possible at all?

What are the requirements of a panel to be compatible with the T530?
