Screen Replacement on T430 Milky white appearance

Hi to all

I purchased two of these screens:

from Amazon in order to up the resolution on my T430 notebooks. I have tried both screens and they do the same thing - they are visible but have a kind of white milky cast over them with a vertical stripey look. Could both units be faulty? They are manufactured by LG according to the sticker on the back and came very well packaged...

You will also need a different LCD cable for the higher resolution: P/N 04W6867 or 04W6868
