Anyone have trackpad tips for t440s?

I absolutely love the t440s except for one thing. The trackpad. I like to use the trackpoint nub.. and the missing buttons really is a downer. It seems like every other click registers as a right click when I am looking for a left click. When I am looking for a middle click, I get left or right.. I basically get the opposite of what I want to do 40% of the time. I can't believe Lenovo thinks this is a usable alternative to the physical buttons. When I use my friend's carbon, my hands scream in relief as I navigate using the trackpoint and the buttons.. Anyone find a good setting, workaround or some method to make it work like it should?
sorry for the rant.. it's just so annoying to have the perfect laptop and have one gaping downside to it.

Some tips for a better experince:
- Make sure the firmware is the newest (

- Make sure you have the latest UltraNav driver installed (
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloa ... D=DS034647)
- Disable the TouchPad in BIOS
- In the driver, select "Classical TrackPoint only mode"
Works very well for me like this - if you want to use two finger scrolling etc., you can also do that in the driver even if the TrackPad is disabled in BIOS.
As a bonus, install TPMiddle for middle-click functionality:

I am also a Trackpoint user on a crumbling T400... anyone else find this setup useful for the T440 series?
