W530, X-Rite Color Calibrator software bugs?

When I run the X-Rite/Pantone color calibrator app, I tell it to come back and nag me in ONE MONTH, FOUR WEEKS.

But no matter how I do that, it comes back to nag me in ONE WEEK.

Someone can't count. And Lenono support patiently explained to me that since the machine is more than one year old (with a 3-year warrantee) I would have to speak to paid support to get their error corrected. AFAIK there's never been an update for the color calibrator app.

This on a Win7/64 machine, fully patched from MS and Lenono alike.

Am I the only one? Really? Or did I miss the memo on how to teach my computer to count to four, FOUR, FOUR! weeks?

Well, I have a W530 too and after 1 year of use I realized the screen grow a slight blue tint per day idk why, its not very annoying, but it takes a minute per week for me to get rid of the faint blue tint and keep my screen sexy looking, im happy with it :)

I don't think the recalibration is necessary, or that the screen is altering color on me. It is just that the "timer" in the calibration app is BROKEN. I say four weeks, it goes off every one week. That's the kind of nuisance I'd expect in a no-name piece of junk, not something branded by X-Rite, licensed by Pantone, and sold by Lenono. Who are supposed to support it.

Of course, since it takes so little effort to run it every week, I'm sure they'd be glad to send some underling around to do that for me, right? (WEG)
