ThinkPad T420 Recovery Problem

#1 Post by MrLenovoUser » Fri Apr 03, 2015 12:40 pm

Hi Guys

I have this issue with ThinkPad T420. When I'm going into Recovery mode pressing F11 or ThinkVintage blue button I have this error message pop-up here; "You must log in to access System Recovery Options. If you are having trouble logging in, please contact your computer administrator for assistance."

Not sure why I have this error and how to fix it to recover laptop normally.

Thanks guys!

Hello MrLenovoUser, and welcome to the forum.

Have you used Rescue and Recovery before on this computer for other tasks? Do you usually have to enter a password? Did you buy the system new, and set it up yourself? Or, was it originally set up by someone else?
