Restoring a T430s

I have an approximately 4-year old T430s that was passed on to my son to finish out high school. He's getting a Macbook Air as a graduation present. This kind of breaks my heart having been a longtime ThinkPad owner. This includes the orginal ThinkPad 700c that is hidden away somewhere in a closet. The good thing is that my son is adept on the Windows, the Mac OS, and more recently has been doing all of his schoolwork with GoogleDocs. And he did teach himself how to use Adobe Illustrator on the ThinkPad not too long ago.
Anyway, I would like to restore this T430s to reasonable working order as a backup laptop for the house. The primary problem is that the display is hanging on by the wires and one mostly broken hinge. The other hinge has completely disintegrated. There's also an overheating issue that occasionally kicks in when the machine is really busy. While I would love to do the repairs myself I just don't have the time, and would probably mess it up if I even tried. Can anyone here recommend a place in the New York City area that would be able to take this on as a project at a reasonable price?
Thanks!
