Hello !
I just bought a manufactor refurbished T430 which is marvelous. Everything works fine except one annoying problem. I have an LG full hd TV which was connected to another laptop through hdmi. Everything worked very well so neither the Tv or the hdmi cable is wrong. I tried to connect the t430 to the TV, but I put a minidisplay - hdmi converter to it of course. I tried it on w8.1, w10 insider preview, ubuntu and fedora as well, with multiple versions of graphic drivers but there is a problem.
The Tv keeps blinking within random intervals. Just for a sec than it comes back. There are times where it is all right for minutes, than it goes blank rapidly. I don't know the reason behind it. so I guess it's either the laptop or the converter
