Power Manager Win10

#1 Post by hhmcsv » Wed Aug 19, 2015 10:28 am

On my T440 running Win8.1 i had the old Power Mananer 6.36 installed, but it ended up malfunctioning. Now upgradet to Win10, I decided to give it another go, and dowloaded and installed this:

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds014924

And the Power Manager seems to run fine, installed in Win7-compatability mode and showing status for both batteries.

Update: After resolving the CapsLock OSD-issue, after a couple of days the PM went unresponsive.

Fix was to go into C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities, find the EXEs and individually do compatibility mode for each one.Reinstalling Power Manager did not help.

I did the Win7 compatibility setting for the files PWMOSDV.exe and PWMUI.exe - and now everything works again
