Dear all,
I currently have the following problem using my T430 with windows 8.1 and ThinkVantage fingerprint software v. 6.0.0 installed. Resuming from hibernation using my fingerprint, the device boots successfully, but on the sign-in screen of windows it appears like it signs in instantly and then signs off directly. The new prompt screen to scan your fingerprint or enter your password exhibits the very same abnormal function, i.e. it signs you in and off directly in a matter of moment. The computer becomes therefore unresponsive and I have to "hard" switch off the device (keeping pressed the power button for a few moments) in order to freshly boot.
Any good troubleshooting advice?
Thanks in advance.
