Hey guys.
So my t450 arrived in the mail today. It had been mislabeled on ebay as having a 160gb hdd but i knew it had to have the 180gb ssd which it does... got the whole thing for $372 with the i5 5300u, not bad.

anyway.

Whats getting me is the absolute absence of any form of wear on it. like, it is what i would expect if I had purchased it straight from lenovo.

The battery cycle indicator is at 1 for both the internal and removable
now, my question being, if they had reset the computer to factory defaults, would the battery cycle counter reset too, or did I really get a fresh one?

Image

thanks!

(Also its great to back in the Thinkpad World :D )

Nope, the battery cycle count would stay the same. You have a fresh battery at your disposal.

If you click the Advanced button in the upper right corner of the Power Manager screen, you should get more information about the battery. One of which is the First Used date that tells you when they unpackaged the battery and installed it in the laptop.
