my trusty w510 still works like a clock, but I am changing to a project egpu composed mainly for play with 3D games but also Linux and normal use.
the pieces are traveling from different US states

T530, 8GB, i5-3360 PE4C V3.0, msi gtx960 4gb ..

Now, I'm going to use the laptop screen even if I have a loss of performance.

The T530 has a low-resolution displays(i think) and would like to change it with something to 1920x1080 or more ', above all I want is a nice monitor for fast, accurate colors as much as what I have on the w510.

whereas the T530 has only an integrated video card intel, I'll have problems getting to work a monitor internal fhd? I must also find the flat cable or just the panel? which panel you advise me? thank you.

There are HD+ (1600X900) and FHD screens, but nothing higher. Some people found the FHD screen "too hot", with the reds being more intense, but I used that screen and likes it. You just need to change the panel itself. If you change the panel, be sure to have it unplugged and have the main battery out. Also, press the power button a couple of times before taking it apart to drain the capacitors. It is very easy to blow a fuse.

Thanks richk, do you intend the autronic B156HW01 V.4? I think is right for me, I already have it over my w510 and I love it... But is difficult to found around, seller ship a cheap quality casual Brand instead.. I must search around, thanks.
