How to remove the WIFI antennas from a T430?

I need to remove the antennas from a T430 to install on another of the same model.
The problem is that there's a metallic film attached to the plastic casing of the antenna and I don't know if I need to cut it in order to remove it or it helps the antenna tune the radio waves properly.

Please see the picture below, I'm pointing at the film with a screwdriver, hope it's clear.

Thanks!

I'd suggest to read the T430 HMM, from page 111 onwards.
To get that, click on the HMM link at the top of this page.
Looks like you don't cut anything, just 'pull' it off.
