Any reason NOT to downgrade a T440S to Win 7?

#1 Post by mirileh » Fri Jan 29, 2016 6:46 am

I got a multitouch T440S and I love it. That said, I hate the Win 8 Pro that came with it.

1. Is there any reason NOT to downgrade it to Win 7 Pro? I should mention that getting the multi-touch was important to me to be able to quickly enlarge applications (and not really for anything else).

2. Is there any step by step guide (for dummies  ) for downgrading?

3. Where's a good link to download the drivers I'll need? (I seem to be coming up with broken links on this).

4. I'd appreciate hearing which, if any, Lenovo stuff are wise to keep!

Thanks!!!

p.s. How can you tell the T440S is fully charged? (where's the indication light?)

You might want to try win10. I'm not fully in love with it yet but it is better than Win 8.

Windows classic shell was a tool I used on win 8 machine. It bypassed a lot of the annoyances.
