Dual Batteries on T530?

#1 Post by burhan » Fri Mar 18, 2016 4:42 am

The battery on my T530 is getting a bit long in the tooth; so I was searching for replacements, and looking online I think that the laptop can support two batteries? One in the docking slot and another in the normal battery slot.

I found this battery "Lenovo Laptop Battery 70++ 9 Cell 0A36303" and "Lenovo Thinkpad 9 Cell Slice 28++".

Can I install both these batteries at the same time?
Current: T530 15.4" 1920x1080 / i7 3630QM / 1 TB SSD (Samsung) + 512 GB mSATA (Samsung) / 16 GB RAM
Current: 13" MacBook Pro (Late 2009)

Yep, the slice battery doubles the runtime of the primary 9 cell.
