Max HDD size for T430 ultrabay caddy

I have just ordered a refurbished T430 which is coming with a 240GB SSD.

My question is what is the max size of HDD I can put in an ultrabay caddy? Should I play safe and get a 1TB SATA 3GB/s 5400RPM 2.5 Inch 9.5mm Internal Hard Drive, or can someone here confirm whether a 2TB drive would also work just as well?

Currently I have the following lined up for order:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultrabay-Enhan ... B00AQOI7GE
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-MQ01AB ... B009AYVNMQ

Comments or better suggestions anyone?

There isn't a software/firmware limit for maximum disk capacity. Ultrabay caddies for T430/T530 are 12.7mm max height, while T430s has 9.5mm as the limit.

It should be fine. I recommend also attaching the rubber rails to the HDD, just like in the main bay for protection. This also minimizes the amount of wiggle room that can cause the drive to become loose. It works great in my W530.
