[SOLVED] Need T430 Recovery Discs

Hello!

I recently purchased a ThinkPad from a local company that does corporate hardware recovery. The short of it is this ThinkPad T430 came with no hard disk nor restore media.

I'd be ever so grateful if I could get discs or ISO files from someone because this machine is licensed for Windows 8 Pro, and I'd like to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro before the free offer expires, then give it to my sister-in-law.

What's the best way to get these nowadays?

Thanks,
Chris

I just might try my T400 recovery media and see what happens, seeing the comments on that thread.

In case someone comes across this, I did without.

I did a clean install using the Windows 8 ISO available from Microsoft (here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download).

The T430, and I'm sure many other machines, have a product key in the BIOS (mine has a key for Windows 8 Pro). The Windows 8 ISO found this and activated automatically. I then installed the (currently free) Windows 10 update.

This left me with a very clean install, but without the Lenovo drivers. I installed those from Lenovo's web site.
