Hi,

I am trying to find something to swap my T420 and dedicated GPU for me is a must.
Does any one compared NVS 5400m (T430) vs Geforce 730m (T440s/p) ?
Main load for GPU will be: some CAD(not a big projects), spme playing with rendering, and light gaming (some Diablo3 or Starcraft2 on middle setup, while sitting near pool

NVS is a bit outdated, but it has 128-bit bus vs 64-bit in Geforce.
Also, in some reviews for a 440's was told, that GPU is cut off from standart Geforce 730m, is it true?

the 730 should be a bit faster, but the nvs 5400m may be allot better for autocad if it has certified drivers for it.

edit:
the T440s has a low power processor, a bit slower than either the T430 or the T420.
the T440p may have quad core option, which is fairly good.

And what about cutoff version of Geforce 730m in T440?

you can check the benchmarks of the t440p in here,

and compare them to other laptops with the same GPU, listed on the same site.
