T430 vs T420 screen assembly

Hi!

Short question, will a complete T420 LCD assembly fit in a T430? If not, which parts are compatible? I know the LCD cable is (at least the mobo connector), the hinges look slightly different. What about LED cables and LED Subcard?

The hinge mounts, specifically the small 'bumps' on the edges of the frames are slightly different. The main hole is the same, though. My guess is that a full lid assembly swap won't work.

Interestingly, the depth and the height differ between the T420 and T430, so the lid may not be interchangeable:

T420:
Width: 340.5 mm (13.4 in)
Depth: 233 mm (9.2 in)
Height: 30.1 to 30.5 mm (1.1 to 1.2 in)

T430:
Width: 340.5 mm (13.4 in)
Depth: 232 mm (9.2 in)
Height: 29.8 to 29.9 mm (1.1 to 1.2 in)

Thanks for the quick reply. A bugger that the height is different, I have a T420 lid with antenna in the cellar that I was hoping to re-use.

I guess it will remain there for a while...
