Bottom casing T440s/T450

Are these identical?

They do look it and I was told they are!
Mine (450) has slight cosmetic issues and would like to replace.

I see they also come with and without dock cutout... I never knew they made the T450 without a docking connector - not even sure the logic behind this!

No, T440s and T450 have very different bottom covers.

The no-docking bottom-covers were made for models with dGPU, which did not feature a docking-port on the Tx40/Tx50-generations.
