Do the T430 and T440 have the old 7 digit machine types?

Or has Lenovo moved to using a different model numbering schematic?

Ending with T/X/Wx30 old 7-char MTM
From T/X/Wx40 onwards new system.

I don't understand this nomenclature. x30 and x40 refer to classic and post-classic models, respectively, in the T, X, and W model lines?

X stands (in this case) for the first digit such as 4 or 5...T/W 440/540 etc...all of which use the new numbering system

Oh I see. So T430 uses old numbering system and T440 uses the new system. Thanks.
