How to look up specs for newer style machine type numbers?

#1 Post by serpico » Fri Apr 07, 2017 10:27 am

On Lenovo's site, I inputted a serial number (of a T431s someone is selling), and the site returned this machine type info:
"Machine Type Model 20AAS00900".

But when I try searching Lenovo for that machine type, nothing comes up.
T430: i5-3320M(2.6GHz), 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, 14" 1600x900, NVIDIA NVS 5400M 1GB
W510: i7-720QM(1.6GHz), 8GB RAM, 240GB SSD, 15.6" 1600x900, 1GB nVIDIA Quadro FX 880M
T410s: Core i5 2.53GHz, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, 14.1" 1440x900

You need to go here: http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/partslookup and put in the S/N
You may need to use Internet Explorer for that, because of Lenovo's abominable website mentality.

Thanks. The parts list that shows up is nowhere near as convenient to skim through as http://tp.krelay.de/index.php for the older 7-digit machine types.

Is the "Innolux 14.0HD+ AG" panel 1600x900 resolution?
