Hi,

I have a couple of ThinkPad T series laptops and Dell used in an office environment with typical office lighting. The Dell is worse in almost every way except the screen is brighter than the ThinkPads. What matte panel can I get for the T series that has the highest brightness level? Or is this something that's limited enough by the laptop itself that it really doesn't matter?

Most lcds cap off around 300 nits of brightness,so not much luck there. Try searching for 14" panels that are "ultrabright " or "for outdoors". Check the nit count and replace the LCD if necessary. I don't think anyone will do this but As a last resort I believe you can swap the led backlight strip for a much brighter one I think.

It can be replaced but it is not an easy thing to do, especially on more modern lcds.
