T430 display freaking out

Hi ThinkPad users!
I'm need of desperate help with my refurbished T430 that I happen to own for 3 months.

Over the past week, a horrible screen issue (as shown in the image) started to happen.
The screen flickers really bad and is shifted (also, the colors are horribly out of alignment and the screen looks like it's interlaced).
I've tried to reattach the display cable on the motherboard and nothing changed whatsoever.
Is this a common issue or have I met with a rare situation?
Thanks,
zv45beta

Your best luck might be bad lvds connection or LCD driver. Would really stink if you needed a whole new display but might be a possibility. To me, I think it's loose lvdsconne cable.

I'd say that the fault is under the bezel, as I've tried to reattach the LVDS cable on the board side.

Does it do the same on an external monitor? Did it just happen out of the blue, or after some work in it maybe? I'd pop off the bezel/keyboard and apply light pressure around the cabling and connectors to see it you can effect it and narrow down the search.

I doubt it would be board side. Lenovo uses very good connectors on tue board for the lcd assembly and would never get loose. The lvds is a junk connector and if the adhesive lets loose, you will have some hell with your lcd, as it shows. Tldr: board connector good, lvds connector bad and likely loose.
