Ultrabay battery prevents main battery from charging?
Just picked up an ultrabay battery and it seems to work good. Only strange event is once the ultrabay battery is fully charged, the main battery still says "not charging" and stays wherever it's at. Seems the only way to get the main battery to charge is to remove the ultrabay battery. That sound normal? I tried to google this, but I only saw complaints of ultrabay batteries not charging, which isn't my issue.

What laptop and which battery. Try a 135W charger.

The batteries have drivers? I just put Windows 10 on the machine. The Lenovo website is so jumbled and cryptic when it comes to their drivers and software that I kind of gave up on it a while back. But I'll check there if that's the issue.

Re: Ultrabay battery prevents main battery from charging?
In my experiences thus far on any of the models I have (20 series or older), the ultrabay battery will charge first. Once it's finished, the main battery will start charging. Are the charge thresholds set to fully charge both batteries in power manager? What's the charge of the primary battery at?

Installed the power manager. Same issue. I'll just remove the ultrabay battery when I want to charge the main battery. I don't really want to devote any more time to another rabbit hole.

Re: Ultrabay battery prevents main battery from charging?
Simple, open battery, solder in switch, close and solved. Switch off to charge main battery.
Only solution i know of. Sorry about that. Atleast its better than nothing.
Btw have you tried modifying the ec to accept any battery. I wonder if the ultrabay battery is screwing with the ec lockout chip?
