T440s Webcam blurry on Windows 10

I recently bought this seller-refurbished laptop off eBay. It came with Windows 8.1 but I upgraded the SSD and did a clean install of Windows 10 on it.

However, when I am using the webcam now, it's really blurry and dark even if I am in a well-lit environment.

Unfortunately, I did not check the camera prior to the Windows 10 upgrade. So I am not sure if this is a Windows issue or hardware issue. I did make sure that I have the latest drivers updated though.

Can you please help?

Welcome to the Forum.

If the LCD-bezel (or its sticker) has been replaced, sometimes people forget to take off the protective cover over the webcam opening.
Yours is probably still there (on the inside of the bezel).
Haven't seen that in person, so can't tell you exactly how to remove it.

Actually I'd happily blame Micro$haft's W10.
