Is the Series 3 dock compatible with the T470?

After years with my T420, I've just ordered a T470p. I've used the Series 3 dock for the T420. Is it compatible with the new T470p? I know there is a new series of docks for the T series but the specs look very similar. I'd rather not have to buy a new dock if it's not necessary. Anyone know? Thanks.

It's not compatible. The connector is very different physically.
