t440s upgrades

I recently got my first thinkpad - t440s and i'd like to replace that awful 1600x900 screen and touchpad.
Is aliexpress ok site to buy part(s) from I was thinking of buying touchpad there:

Aliexpress is often a roll of the dice, but often cheaper than elsewhere.

And if you read Laptopscreens's description:

- New Grade A+
brand new part made by one of the above mentioned major manufacturer.

you never know WHAT you get from that outfit! I'd say: avoid!

But where should i buy AUO screen? anywhere where i can be 100% certain that i'll get that exact screen and not say LG one?

I guess i'll buy touchpad then from aliexpress, it has 44 feedbacks and all of them are positive.

ANd got confirmation from them:
We currently have the AUO in stock, however the part number we have is B140HAN01.3 which should and will not make a difference and will work with your laptop.

so i'm going for it. i hope it will work as expected. also bought that touchpad. fingers crossed

If they confirmed you the model number then you will be fine, I've bought 2 AUO B140HAN01.2 from AliExpress from two different sellers and the displays have been flawless, one is on my T440p and I've the other as backup.

mzezelj , Any feedback on the replacement Touchpad? I've carried a Thinkpad since the T20 days and I'm dying with the Touchpad on my T440!

I was suffering with the touchpad in windows but find that it works much better after installing cloudready(chromeos). I'm planning to upgrade the panel as the 1600x900 one is awful under any operating system.

Currently ordered aliexpress panel and kingspec m2 ssd. I'm curious how good or bad these will be. Vendors for these are kingspec for ssd and jinnyman for panel. Both are scheduled for some time in April 2021.

Will also attempt ax200 transplant with 2.36 BIOS when these arrive. That arrived after 5 months because USPS lost it.
