Hello fellow Thinkheads,

I was wondering if anyone can confirm if this adapter will fit properly in the T430.

It says the dimensions are: Size: 125mm*125mm*9.5mm.

It also says it only supports sata II SDD, however, it was my understanding the caddy does not limit the sata in anyway and instead it's the drive and the sata board itself?

This from the website does not have the hook to keep ultrabay adapter in place. Search again for your thinkpad model if possible.

Get one from ebay that is very specific for thinkpad. Only 2 heights, one is 9.5mm and other one is 12.5mm. That all. SATA adapters to dock the HD in optical bay does not have any electronics to limit the SATA speeds, just pass through on a circuit board. I did this on a HP ultra slim using thinkpad ultrabay with success too.
